Founder / Partner
Marc-Olivier ZARNOWSKI holds a degree in Anglo-Saxon law, a first master's degree in public law and a second master's degree in health law and economics from the Nancy Faculty of Law (University of Lorraine).
During her studies, he participated in several pleading competitions, in particular the European Law Moot Court.
Before becoming a lawyer, Marc-Olivier worked as a legal assistant at the Nancy Administrative Court of Appeal. He then worked as a legal officer for the (French) National Office for Medical Accidents before working as a legal officer with the European institutions in Luxembourg (Consumers, Health, Agriculture and Food Executive Agency).
Sworn in as a lawyer at the Luxembourg Bar in 2018, he worked in several litigation firms before setting up Ad. Astra in 2024 with Florian PONCIN.
Marc-Olivier's main areas of practice are administrative law in general and medical liability. He also practises civil and commercial law, as well as real estate law.
We assist our clients with all civil law issues, including disputes between individuals, contractual disputes, commercial disputes and debt recovery.
We assist our clients, whether doctors or patients, in all disputes relating to medical accidents. This includes expert medical appraisals, negociation, litigation before the relevant courts, and loss assessment.
We represent our clients before the administrative courts in all disputes relating to the public authorities, including public procurement, town planning and administrative sanctions.
We act for both landlords and tenants in rental disputes, co-ownership disputes and property transactions. We also advise players in the construction sector on the management of contracts and disputes relating to the execution of works.
Marc-Olivier advises and assists his clients at both the pre-litigation and litigation stages in a variety of languages, including French, English and Spanish.
Founder / Partner
Florian PONCIN holds a Master's degree in law, specialising in European law, from the Université Catholique de Louvain. He also holds an LL.M. from Queen Mary University of London, specialising in intellectual property law and data protection law.
During his studies, Florian PONCIN took part in and sometimes won several prizes and awards at moot court and eloquence competitions, such as: the Jeune Barreau de Namur eloquence competition (2013, first prize and public prize); the Belgian Red Cross moot court competition (finalist); the Price Media Law Moot Court, an international moot court competition, which final took place at Oxford University (UK - 2016) (eighth finalist).
Sworn in as a lawyer at the Luxembourg Bar in 2017, he worked in several renowned law firms in Luxembourg before setting up the Ad. Astra law firm in 2024 with Marc-Olivier ZARNOWSKI.
Since 2023, Florian PONCIN also works as an "enseignant-vacataire" (part-time teacher) at the Université du Luxembourg (teaching "law for IT professsionals").
Florian PONCIN's main areas of practice are intellectual property, media law, privacy and data protection.
Our firm assists entrepreneurs and companies in setting up, managing and transferring their structures. This includes drafting and reviewing articles of association, negotiating commercial contracts, handling commercial disputes and debt collection.
We have expertise in employment law, assisting both employers and employees in drafting contracts and managing individual and collective disputes.
We assist our clients in any legal aspects of media and new technologies, intellectual properties (copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, …), privacy (image rights, confidentiality, …) and data protection. It includes drafting legal acts and pleadings proceedings, drafting policies (cookies policy, privacy policy, …), and helping you improve your company’s legal and regulatory compliance.
Florian advises and assists his clients at both the pre-litigation and litigation stages in a variety of languages, including French and English. He also has a good grasp of Japanese.
